Re: New Station wanting to test fan?

I'm perfectly aware that AC makes no difference, the power of the fan does, which is supplied by an AC outlet which is connected to a DC converter at the ISS. As far as semantics go, I tried to be accurate but obviously failed. A picture's worth a thousand words......
This is what I use. http://www.ebay.com/itm/80mm-25mm-New-Case-Fan-Kit-110-115-120V-AC-67CFM-Computer-Cooling-Ball-1766a/380794571711?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D30424%26meid%3D21c0787e3b7741b69f36eaaa529fd924%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D281427351897&rt=nc

It makes no difference to the "power of the fan".  It's not more powerful simply by virtue of being powered by the mains.

Note the picture.  It clearly says it's a DC brushless motor.
No s**t, Sherlock. You're now merely babbling to make your "educated" point about "the mains" and "brushless motor" when all I'm taking about is better aspiration of my ISS, which I've achieved. I've tried to make a point about proper aspiration, but since you don't subscribe to it, it must be utter garbage.
I'm done with this thread, and your closed mind, and I'll bet the rest of the board is too. ](*,)
