We aren't having much wind lately, and I was having issues keeping a good signal from the bridge where I had it located next the the computer, so I went back to Meteobridge with acurite, moved my stuff across the house, and also am using my solar rad shield similar to above, (except I used large bowls instead of plates) and I am the coolest readings on the map. The Oregon wmr100a does not have a large enough shield for the sensor when there is no wind. It will spike up 3 or 4 F above ambient, even higher than the 5 in 1. All summer it did well, reading cooler than the 5 in 1 since there was just enough wind...
