Make a directory for a local git repository, then clone the source code we need:

$git clone git://github.com/merbanan/rtl_433
$git clone git://git.osmocom.org/rtl-sdr.git[/code]

For rtl_433, it is probably irrelevant, but I've been using keenerd's rtl-sdr repo.  There are a bunch of patches and improvements to the other tools.
