All I know is that my Vue console automatically adjust for the altimeter setting if I choose to do so, and do. It is absolutely accurate when compared to the other four NWS/FAA ASOS's in my vicinity. At least they admit are adjusting it.
I almost wonder if they averaging your readings over a period of time and then scaling it against 29.92" similar to the "Acurite Method".
