Re: 5-in-1 randomly changing sensor number?

Does the 5-in-1 randomly assign a new sensor number every time the batteries are changed?  Just trying to figure out if it is a power problem.....

Nope.  Not if it's functioning normally, anyway.

I've never tried it if the batteries are removed for an extended period, though.  I've had them out for maybe about an hour at a time when cleaning out spiders or other maintenance.  They've always come right back up on MBW without an issue.

The console is a different issue, but it doesn't use the sensor ID.  I've found the quickest way to get it back is to flip the A-B-C switch in the console as that will re-start the scanning sequence.  Otherwise the console won't start re-scanning until it's just given up on the signal.  I'm not sure how long that that is, but I think the bar indicator has to step down to zero-bars, which starts the re-scanning sequence when it gets to zero bars.
