Just got a variant of the hackulink driver running with my bridge this morning. I don't have the bridge feeding directly into anything other than the router right now, so I went with the DNS hijack approach to send the HTTP POST messages to my server running weewx instead of the www.acu-link.com server. Modified the driver to re-POST the sensor strings to acu-link.com (not hijacked) so that the MBW would still operate in case I wanted that data there.
I did have some issues initially not seeing the POST messages. At the time I didn't have the apache server running, so there was nothing that could handle the HTTP requests the bridge was sending out prior to the POST. I'm stilling thinking that I will try to have the driver receive the post messages directly instead of using the ncat/ngrep command. Other than that the driver is working great!
