Ok guys, one more post and I'll be putting this one to rest. From what I've experienced and read, the following seem to be true:
1) After I register my Bridge, it will report everything it receives to Acu-Rite site (and perhaps to WU if configured to do so on Acu-Rite). So, if my neighbor had a Acu-Rite sensor of some sort, and it happened to be within range of my Bridge, the neighbor data would also update the websites through my account. You can turn off any unwanted sensors through the manage sensors page.
2) The "A B C" is only set to tell my indoor Display/Console device to listen/display what is set to the same "A B C" value.
(what would happen if 2 devices within range are both set to the same channel as the Display/Console?)I believe that the sensors are using Frequency Modulation FM. If so in most cases the receiver will lock onto the strongest signal and ignore the weak one
Is that true?
It would not bother me to see my neighbors sensors. I might want to see them for camparison.
