Several (including me) have noted that at random times, a bridge will lose connection with a 5n1 and have difficulty getting it back yet tower connections seem to be unaffected.
I have it happen once in a while. It comes and goes for no apparent reason. It's a frustrating issue that Acurite says they haven't been able to reproduce in their lab. I've tried to re-create it myself with no luck. It seems totally random.
About all you can do is reboot and let it re-acquire. Unfortunately, it might happen again several time in a row, then the problem may go dormant and not appear again for weeks or even months.
It appears to be an internal bridge issue. I've had two bridges running in parallel listening to the same 5n1, and the problem doesn't seem to present itself on both bridges simultaneously, so that seems to rule out an issue with the 5n1 sensor itself.
Display units don't seem to notice any connectivity problems at all.
