Since the batteries are still not totally shot and it seems to still be sending data, I intend to keep it around until the batteries finally
fail since that has been my long-term experiment more than any data it has collected.
After that, I am torn between rebuilding it with the dual solar panel top that I already have, or yanking the electronics and making separate housings for each sensor on my 3D printer so they can be sited properly. Thingiverse has printable files to make every sensor, including these two thermometer options:
