Estimating wind speed from branch movement.... IMHO not very accurate

Water cues for wind speeds are lot better then using tree branches. Beaufort  wind scale.

kevens software ?

Hello okieman98 - yes, the newer versions of Kevin's reader works with the SmartHUB.  Post at http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?board=136.0 , or maybe mod can move this one.

Thanks for the feedback, I did make it too complicated didn't I?  I'll see if I can put together a demo video sometime in the future, procedure itself takes about 5 to 10 minutes to accurately...

After jacking up my Rainwise, I merely used my Cocorahs, a digital kitchen scale, and a milk jug to get it right again. After half a dozen rain events, nothing torrential thou, they've matched exactly....

when i tried to use it i found my station on wonderground and would not log into the dashboard, maybe i am doing something wrond do u have to remove the hub from the dashnoard are something like that

Sorry I missed the question Junianby, but Harold has you covered. I didn't see the text originally in the quote. I did what Harold did as well, and had the washers close to the front tip.
