I would recommend lubricating the fan motor, or replacing the motor. IT will never get any better, that I can guarantee if you just let it alone.

You said the temp & all is good until the sun comes out. That is a sign something is wrong with either the motor, wiring, or solar panels. Some have reported solar panel issues.

I have the same 5 in 1 that you do. If your 5 in 1 is in the sun its picking up radiant heat from the sun. I built a 6in thick insulated structure to inclose my temp sensor and have no more temp spikes...
