I still don't know which sensor to trust, but am leaning toward the tower sensor. The 5 in 1 humidity runs up fast as the evening progresses while the tower very slowly increases. The 5 n 1 reading is up to 18% higher than the tower. I notice with the tower that the temp and humidity running lower produces a significantly lower dew point than most everything around me in evenings with the exception of the AWOS located around 12 miles away. Shouldn't sensors slowly adjust and not "jack rabbit" ? Same for temperature unless a strong front crosses? I think there are some very poorly shielded stations on the market if so. In the mornings, my temp is lower or the same while my dew point is higher with nearly the same or lower humidity. Not to be a wisenheimer, but with all the problems, have you considered moving on to VP2 with 24hr FARS (or anything else for that matter)? I've had mine for 8 yrs. and couldn't be happier with its performance.
