So, I just took the whole thing apart. If you do this, you must remove the fan blade and the wind cups, which is the hardest part. Mine actually came off without breaking! ![:shock:]( "Shocked")
You just have to keep trying and get a little more power with each pull, and they will suddenly "pop off". There isn't much to the fan and panels. The wires are so tiny, and so is the fan motor. I checked everything over, and it seems fine. I think the fan is doing all it can. I actually think taking mine apart was a waste of time for the regulator and solar panels, as everything checked out fine. I just don't think it was made to run fast enough. Now I did oil everything again, including the motor, but most importantly the metal bearing holder at the top and bottom that the bearing rides against. I'm going to watch the temp before installing again, and if it doesn't improve, (which I doubt it will) I may just opt to try painting it.
