The original Duracell alkaline batteries that I put in my 5-in-1 sensor have finally triggered the low battery alarm on MBW last night, a few weeks shy of their two-year anniversary. The low temperature was 22F, the coldest night of the season so far. The sensor is still sending data, but the batteries are obviously nearing their end of life.
One word of caution about MBW. Don't enable the low battery notification text/email option. It appears to send an alert message every time that the bridge does an upload to MBW, and I woke up this morning to *hundreds* of duplicate e-mails from Acu-Link about my batteries being seriously low.....![Sad]()
