Sorry, but I just can't make heads or tails of what you're saying when you post like that.
We started with rain rate, shifted to dew point, bounced around barometers, and I guess now we're on rain event?
This is all very difficult to follow.
My point is that the "rain event" has never been adequately documented and I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean the same thing across all the different displays. As far Meagan saying that there has to be a pressure rise is fairly new information to me and isn't outlined in any data sheets I have.
Why this is a big deal, I don't know. "Rain Event" isn't a weather parameter people talk about much, if at all. Most people just refer to rain graphs if they have software that produces them.
That's all I can say. I really don't know where this conversation is going.

And the board I am sorry this has gone off topic. Yes "Rain Event" it is just another software feature on mbw weather that is poorly defined and causes much confusion across there software and displays for the end user. As you said "As far Meagan saying that there has to be a pressure rise is fairly new information to me and isn't outlined in any data sheets I have." It seems as you are privy to more info than most do you work for acurite? I have reached out to you here by private message, twice do you ever check you messages? I have asked you a question here about testing the dew point problem? Will you check on your system and please provide some screen grabs? A yes or no would be greatly appreciated. The rainfall rate is easy to verify all you have to do is watch the next event. Once again my apologies for going off topic
